  Hubby and I met up with a friend here for a coffee break this week. It has recently changed owners and names (prev. Mistress of Spice), so we came to check it out. There are a few tables outside, so we bagged a corner one. Donning masks and showing our double vaxx screens, we ordered coffees, banana bread and a smashed avo on toast with dukkah. We had one flat white, one strawberry milkshake and one cappuccino – all good, nothing super exceptional but fine. My smashed avo was fabulous – light and airy, the fetta mixed in with the avo giving a delightfully tasty spread over my toast.  The dukkah was spicy and full of flavour, and not too overpowering – dealt with a light hand. It was very filling, so I took the other piece home, which I enjoyed later on for arvo tea. This café is kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and also has lots of interesting gifts and take-home readymade dinners. A useful and tasty addition to the neighbourhood.

Shop front is packed with gifts and trinkets which are interesting to look through while waiting for a takeaway.

Coffee seem around average for Brisbane. It seems like milk ratios are often off and coffees are slightly too milky.

  Great friendly service and good coffee some of the best in the area. The shop sells a lot of odd bits and stuff, it was a bit confused as to what this store is, coffee shop, a spice store not really sure but good coffee
